We each go through something different in life but there is one absolute certainty in the end – we all die.
The eternal question is what happens to us after that?
Has anyone ever told you that you can know for certain that you’re going to Heaven?
Almost every religion teaches that we are sinners and all fall short of the glory of God. Our sin separates us from a perfect and holy God and left unaddressed will send us to hell.
The good news is that Jesus Christ already came to get the Hell out of our lives. Through Him we can receive forgiveness and go to heaven. Jesus says each of us can receive this gift. But like any gift, it must be accepted and opened.
The Bible says that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, then we will be saved. This means we must admit our sins and believe and trust that Jesus died for us. We must have faith that His death takes care of our sin debt and that His resurrection is the guarantee that we will be raised to eternal life in heaven after our death.
Please choose to accept the gift of forgiveness and open it by asking Jesus into your heart today.
Jesus did not come into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world.
